What are you going to initiate or begin during this New Moon? The previous “Eclipses” provided us with new gateways. What is your new direction?
Personally, I find the Dark of the Moon, and that tiny bit of light as the New Moon phase comes forth to be powerfully illuminating. Oftentimes I've gained experiences of intuitive, psychic and creative awareness, when things have been kind of murky, and emotionally shadowy, during other parts of the lunar cycle.
As I move toward the New Moon my psychic sight becomes so much keener during the couple of day preceding the new moon. What’s your experience of the New Moon phase?
The Sun and Moon are in alignment. For us, on September 9, we have a conjunction between our “Luminaries”. This New Moon in the sign of Virgo is happening at 11:01 Pacific time.
For a moment I want to bring a bit of numerology into view. The New Moon in the lunar cycle is one of the “Power Days”. New beginnings are the astrological connection here. The first thing we see is the 11 with a 1. In numerology the 11 is referred as a “Master number”. The 1 is self-identity.
11 is a number of spiritual and psychic inspiration. On a more practical 2 level, we have abundance and the time for making decisions. Chose three or 4 intentions for today. In fact one intention may be the ticket. Make it big!
Since we have the connection of the Sun and Moon, we have the message of relationship occurring. Even more specifically, we have the masculine and feminine coming together in creation of something new. If we further use the number clues, we have this current year adding up to 11/2. This is the year of relating to each other.

Are you ready to plant your new intention for this lunar cycle? Since Virgo is the sign of clarity and separating the “chaff from the wheat", we are moving into harvest time. This is a bridge or mutable sign that’s taking us into the next season of autumn. Virgo is a practical earth element, with an understated sense of humor.
