Yes, Mercury is retrograde in the Earth sign of Virgo, August 30th-September 22nd.

Let me tell you right from the start, I get a gleeful delight when I hear people say, “oh no, not again.” As I hear, “not again”, this seems to indicate that “mean Mercury” is about to strike, and make things fall apart, yet again.

Actually things fall apart when we haven’t been paying attention (perhaps the computer is down because you need to rest at a decent hour).

It’s a good time to assess what has value and meaning in our lives, and daily activities. How and what we communicate is spotlighted. Mercury is the planet of communication.
