1. The Day You Were Born by Linda Joyce
Here's a list of books that I've had and used for years. As a beginner, the question comes up about helpful astrology wisdom. Each astrologer/writer that I've listed here, provides a wealth of astrological information. These books are enjoyable to read, because they give practical strategies, and wise ways for using astrology in our daily lives.
1. The Day You Were Born by Linda Joyce
3. Moon Signs: The Key to Your Inner Life by Donna Cunningham
4. The Inner Sky: How to Make Wiser Choices for a More Fulfilling Life by Steven Forrest
To gain the true benefits, and to be empowered by your own intention choices, it's very important to take your time, and really open to your creative abilities, intuition, Soul wisdom, insight and imagination. Choosing what’s fulfilling, authentic, and holds values of truth, love, creativity, spiritual awareness, will make your intentions and life, magnetic and radiant.
What’s the big deal about creating empowered intentions? What’s the difference between an intention and a resolution? These are two important questions, if you have any desire to bring forth a harvest of deeply meaningful, and powerful experiences and expressions in your life.
Here are 12 ways your might use the stars to navigate your life. To help us learn how to use Star Navigation, we are going to put this in the context and reference of the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse. The energetic effect of the Eclipse will be felt for some time to come.
With these two events occurring in the sign of Pisces, which is connected to the Neptune ruling the 12th house that operates as the “hidden self”, we have a chance to delve into the realm of deep insight, and personal self awareness. Each of us at this time, is intuitively and also directly, tuned into the areas of life where we need to release, let go, surrender, and most all trust that the Universe is always willing, ready and able to bring our greatest and deepest desires into manifestation.
This Moon and Eclipse is providing each of us an opportunity to look deep into our unconscious, and see the habitual emotional and life patterns which “shadow” our lives.
The Month of September was a cosmically powerful month with both a Solar and Lunar Eclipses being featured at the New and Full Moons, with the signs of Virgo and Pisces. We also were entertained by slippery and earthy Mercury in Virgo retrograde until September 22, when the Fall Equinox gracefully came over the horizon.
This is perhaps a time to remember the summer “haze and daze”, and to ponder how to move forward toward the dark cover of winter. It’s a time to check where we need to call forth balance in our lives.
Each of the cosmic events mentioned above are part of a very sophisticated super GPS that each one of us has for life guidance and navigation. As we look around at all the circumstances, situations, relationships and events happening, which seem to be in a total jumble, we might ask, “What’s happening? Are the Stars fickled and flighty, and do they just love messing with our lives? The answer is no.
What I really like about Astrology, are the clues this guidance system provides for daily life pointers, insight, and direction.
The Full Moon in Aquarius on the 18th, though the effects can be felt starting on the 16th, is a sensational opportunity to “meet and greet others”. This is a great time to promote social groups and friendly encounters. During this Moon, people are eager to talk and exchange mutually beneficial thoughts and ideas.
In the sign of the “water-carrier” there’s an excitement in the air. As an air sign, Aquarius represents collective group awareness, in particular trends, mass movement and major societal changes. One major topic that heads the list of Aquarian concerns are questions of humanitarianism, a massive global dilemma affecting every country in the world.
Check out the kinds of subjects that are trending on social media. Aquarius ruled by the planet of “sudden and often disrupting happenings”, Uranus. It is also the sign of technology, specifically the Internet.
In many ways, Aquarius is the messenger that is asking everyone, as part of the collective whole, to consider what she or he is willing to contribute toward a new and more just world vision, which includes all people?
Aquarius is an upfront sign. It’s signature is about doing things differently from what has been done in the past. Much of the social, economic, and overall planetary upheaval has to do with collective group owning of what is not viable, and how the “old order” has disavowed the differences and diversity of the branches on the“human tree”.
This Full Moon is shining on you, and your unique view. Is there something that you’ve been toying with for awhile? It’s time to go for it!
Perhaps people around you may look at you with a raised eyebrows, but there are others who are ready for the changes that you are proposing, and are in full support of your vision(s)!
Even though there are many topics and subjects that are weighty, and perplexing, connecting with others in a fun and enjoyable way makes everything easier. The summer Sun is still sitting in Leo, which in astrological terms is in the opposing position to Aquarius. Even though these signs are sitting opposite one another, I actually see them working together as complements.
One way to use this astrological partnering, is for social connecting and having fun, where people can communicate and enjoy each others company. When we play together, we create more “heart space”. With more “heart vision”, we can hear one another better, and see our way with more understanding, clarity, and wisdom.

Yours in Astro Magic,
As a Pisces(water element) sign individual, music is an art form that gives my life expression and meaning. But , Astrology has long walked beside my musically connection. This year I 've really started to understand how rhythms of sound, combine with the cycles of astrology, and other oracle guidance systems can help us map our lives more successfully.
More than ever, people are seeking ways to understand and live beyond the material concerns, and the daily grind. Using astrology and other self-insight systems, are a part of an evolutionary movement, which is moving people into more heart/soul centered awareness.
In astrology, there are the 12 houses which symbolize areas of life expression. As Jupiter transits Virgo it signals big changes.
So make all effort to be flexible, refine what's important to you, be discerning, and open to creative, emotional and spiritual understanding .
