Part One
There is so much happening on the astrological landscape. The big lunar message with the comfort, beauty, elegance-seeking, earthy, productive, artistically creative( often in music, especially with the voice) sensual and money-wise Taurus, is presenting a message and a question. What essential things need to be released and changed in our lives?.
Most of the time we hear that the sign of Taurus is about being dependable, solid, and sometimes it is portrayed as being downright boring. But right now we are going to step out of this stereotyped way of seeing this sign. This Full Moon is noteworthy because the Moon in Taurus, and the entering Sun in Scorpio are sitting at 1 degree each, while Uranus in Taurus is sitting very close to our "two starry luminaries".
Why is this lunar happening with Taurus so important? We have a powerful connection occurring between the Moon, Uranus, and the ruling planet of Taurus, Venus. First let’s take a look of Uranus sitting in the sign of Taurus. The Moon and Uranus are dancing the tango right now. Uranus is the planet of sudden happenings, change, the need for a new vision, innovation, and is encouraging a new view of how to take the old, “tried and true”, and reconsider what needs to be radically altered in our lives.
Uranus is going to be moving through Taurus for the next 7 years or so, and lots of changes will be happening. Since Taurus is an earth sign, the way we live and connect with our beloved planet Earth is going to change.
This life movement of course starts with each of us. We each are being asked by our own inner life directive to "become the change we want to see". What area of your life is unrelenting and keeps seeking your total attention?
Now if we put Uranus and the Moon together in what is called a conjunction aspect, we have them blending their energies. The tango is a very sensual and provocative dance style. Where in your astrology "star map" is this sizzling creative energy occurring?
For clarification, the Moon is where we have our deepest feelings of emotional, psychic, comfort and inner life well-being. The Moon is how we feel nurtured and give comfort and nurturing. The sign of Taurus is exalted in the Moon placement. This basically means that Taurus is at ease, relaxed, and basically really happy to be associated with the Moon.
Now our story of the Moon and Taurus, with all this ease, is one of wanting to be in the “comfort arena” and desiring to keep things in the status quo zone. The sign of Taurus, along with other fixed signs( Leo, Aquarius and Scorpio) have set ideas and ways of approaching life. The fixed signs are the builders and conservators of life. But, as with everything, change must happen.

Well, here’s the message about change. Recall that I mentioned Venus is the guiding/ruling planet of Taurus. At this time Venus is sitting in the opposite sign from Taurus, which is the intense water sign of Scorpio.
With the ruler of Taurus holding court with Scorpio, there is a life balancing that is asking of each of us to dive deep, and reconnect with the inner wise self. The sign of Scorpio represents the ability to move through the shadows and feared parts of life.
Where in your life do you feel less than powerful to make those absolutely needed changes, that will make the difference in living a truly creative, heartful, soulfully and successful life? This is an important and meaningful question.
The answer is that each of us has the power to live life in a stellar and wise way.
Please stay tune for Part Two.
